Amarante car park 1
There is plenty of parking at the main spectaing area, cars start to be parked a few miles back from the stage, keep going past them all to the end where there is a large area for parking very near to the stage. When the rally is not running this is sports ground ‘Olo Campo Futebol’. The pitch itself had been comandeered as a bar when we went. Amarante is run twice and there are vans pitched up here all day (and some for the night) to soak in the atmosphere. Although there are large crowds here this isn’t an arena style venue, with commentary and toilet facillites.
