Rally Japan Stage Maps
The 2024 WRC Rally Japan, scheduled from November 21-24, will be the final round of the World Rally Championship season, taking place on the demanding mountain roads of Aichi and Gifu prefectures. This year’s route features three new challenging stages: Mt. Kasagi, Lake Mikawako, and Shinshiro, which include tight, twisting roads set against scenic backdrops like the Kumano Shrine. A standout feature will be the Super Special Stage (SSS) at Toyota Stadium, running in a head-to-head duel format, promising an exciting spectacle for fans.
To enhance the fan experience, Rally Japan will feature entertainment such as a demonstration by the Blue Impulse aerobatics team, freestyle motocross, and live performances. Toyota Stadium will also host activities to engage young audiences, including free access for children with accompanying adults. With this combination of thrilling stages and family-friendly events, Rally Japan 2024 aims to be a memorable finale to the WRC season
It is the last round of the 2024 WRC season.
By the time the WRC headed to Japan last year, in 2023, the championship had already been decided in Rovanperäs’s favour.
This year is very different. Thierry Neuville, Ott Tanak and Elfyn Evans can all lift the crown at the end of the rally, all of them driving for Hyundai. Only one of them, Ott Tanak has been previously crowned World Champion.
Not only is the Drivers Title still in the air, but the Manufacturers title is still to be decided with both Toyota and Hyundai in the running.
As in 2023, the super special stage is being hosted in the Toyota Stadium in the Aichi region. The stadium is usually used for Football and Rugby, however, it is being converted into a motorsport stadium for the first time for the event.
