A new for 2023 version of the iconic Col de Turini stage, with a start from Camp de Millo for this classic test of the Monte-Carlo Rally. The steep climb to the village of La Bollène-Vésubie is very narrow, with two spectacular hairpins to negotiate. The competitors then take the main road to Col de Turini (1607 m), a 12-km climb, this should not present too many problems due to its south facing orientation.
Watching La Bollène-Vésubie / Col de Turini
You can see in the stage rally map below that the official spectator areas are clustered around the start of the stage and La Bollene Vesubie and the end of the stage at the summit of the Col de Turini. This is due to the lack of public access roads for the most part of the stage.
Access to the lower viewing areas around the starting area is via the M2565 and M70 from Lantosque. Parking is regulated in La Bollène-Vésubie and on the M70. Access to the top spectator areas around the summit is only via the D2566 from Moulinet, parking is regulated on the D2566.
