The Santa Quiteria and Felgueiras rally stages are virtually identical with the only difference being the Santa Quiteria stage finishes slightly further north. The Santa Quiteria stage is used in the European Championship, whereas the Felgueiras stage is used in the World Championship.
This stage alone with the Seixoso stage, both being in the Felgueiras municipality contributed to the ERC rallies name of Rally Serras de Fafe e Felgueiras
