La Bollène-Vésubie / Moulinet (Col de Turini)

Thousands of fans go to watch the Col de Turini rally stage, Monte Carlos most famous stage, and infamous rally stage. It is a high moutain pass starting (or finishing as it is often run in reverse) in the commune of Moulinet or Peïra Cava with a lot of hairpin corners. The Col de Turini often has extremely variable conditions ranging from dry grippy asphalt at the bottom, through wet asphalt and ice up to full snow at the top and is often run in the dark.  Tyre choice can be critical with those opting for dry asphalt tyres having no grip at all at the top.

Access to watch the Col de Turini top changes according to which route the cars are taking. Be sure to check before setting out to watch the Col de Turini.
