Myherin

Myherin rally stage is a classic of Wales Rally GB . It is traditionally run from north to south although it is sometimes run in reverse. It is one of Jari-Matti Latvala’s favourite stages of the World Rally Championship.

The north end/start of the Myherin rally stage is very dramatic and offers fantastic viewing.  It is known as the Welsh Pikes Peak to it series of climbing  long sweeping hairpin corners. It is well worth the walk to this area, it is one of the best viewing areas.  Viewing is stage side,  it is easy to move around different viewing points, the hairpins are open and fast and the cars are in view for a minute or so.

This end of the stage is easy to reach from the A44. Access the stage where the continuation of the stage meets the A44. The walk is about 30 minutes from this point.  Be careful parking, it is heavily policed and vehicles can get towed away, however there are laybys which are safe to park in.
